How to Select Music For Different Parties

Music makes a lot of sense if it is perfectly coordinated with the theme of the party. It really soothes the heart and the soul and sets the mood of the party. It is universal and nobody hates it. But, you need to choose a different set of music for every theme to enjoy to the fullest. Below are few tips which help you in organizing music for your party.

Tea party: Since it is a simple social gathering it is not necessary to have a big troop of musicians or to hire some DJ. You can select a bunch of songs depending on the age group of your guests and make play your own music. Popular choices for these parties are classical compositions by Bach, Schubert, and Debussy. Instrumental and light contemporary music is also preferable.

Garden party: In garden parties it is better to pick music according to the theme of the party. For example, if you are offering a Japanese garden party it is better to choose Japanese Music and Eastern chants. Vary your music style according to the things going on in the party. For example, start it with light music like the classical and the semi classical for appetizers, change the tempo and rest it with dance music when the people are having deserts.

Teens party: If your budget supports you, the best way to enjoy the teens party it to hire a DJ and ask him to play rocking numbers. Since teens are not particular about the music, you can play any kind of music that makes the people stand on their feet. In case, if you can't hire a DJ, ask some of your friends to suggest tunes for your party. Choose the most popular dance numbers and make them in to a CD to play in the party.

Halloween parties: The name of the party is itself scary and spooky. So, if you are hosting a Halloween its always better to have tunes of some thrillers and horror movies which makes the event even more interesting.

These are tips for playing a party music which makes it more memorable and special.

Music Makes Your Party Special

Everybody likes music. In fact it is a passion for many people. It not only changes the moods of the people but also changes the whole environment. With music you can make a difference from good party to great party. It enhances the party mood and make the guests moving. However proper planning is required to make your party rock with music.

Based on the theme: It is always important to make your music line up with the theme of your party. There are different varieties of music each of which has its own style. If it is a Halloween, pick some spooky music, for a kids party go with your children's favorite artists, if it is a tea party go for some classical tunes, and for a bachelors or graduation party play all the latest trends of pop and rock music.

Based on the time: Time here means the things going on that particular time in your party. For instance if it is time you are welcoming your guests go for some low key and relaxed music as the guests are arriving and try to mingle with the people around. Once they are relaxed go for some mellow beats and up beat tunes so that they try to move on and have fun. If it is the time to have food play some classical tunes so that you can give a chance to praise your food and share a conversation. During desert time you can again upbeat your music. And again at the time of farewell go for the beginning tunes which you used to welcome them.

Hiring a Band: If you don't have time to arrange all those things and if you can afford to have a band of music there is no doubt that the party is going to rock. Those people have an incredible array of music and if you share few of your interests with them they are going to play an excellent music to entertain your guests. Even though it is a bit expensive it is worth hiring.

No party is complete with out music so plan it accordingly and make the best use of it.
