How to Select Music For Different Parties

Music makes a lot of sense if it is perfectly coordinated with the theme of the party. It really soothes the heart and the soul and sets the mood of the party. It is universal and nobody hates it. But, you need to choose a different set of music for every theme to enjoy to the fullest. Below are few tips which help you in organizing music for your party.

Tea party: Since it is a simple social gathering it is not necessary to have a big troop of musicians or to hire some DJ. You can select a bunch of songs depending on the age group of your guests and make play your own music. Popular choices for these parties are classical compositions by Bach, Schubert, and Debussy. Instrumental and light contemporary music is also preferable.

Garden party: In garden parties it is better to pick music according to the theme of the party. For example, if you are offering a Japanese garden party it is better to choose Japanese Music and Eastern chants. Vary your music style according to the things going on in the party. For example, start it with light music like the classical and the semi classical for appetizers, change the tempo and rest it with dance music when the people are having deserts.

Teens party: If your budget supports you, the best way to enjoy the teens party it to hire a DJ and ask him to play rocking numbers. Since teens are not particular about the music, you can play any kind of music that makes the people stand on their feet. In case, if you can't hire a DJ, ask some of your friends to suggest tunes for your party. Choose the most popular dance numbers and make them in to a CD to play in the party.

Halloween parties: The name of the party is itself scary and spooky. So, if you are hosting a Halloween its always better to have tunes of some thrillers and horror movies which makes the event even more interesting.

These are tips for playing a party music which makes it more memorable and special.
