Britney’s Latest Album “Black Out” Failed To Get Success

Recently I have read in News paper that Britney latest album “Black out” is one of the flops in the market. Last week the album is in 29th place in the Amazon sales ranking. Even though the previous album of Britney Spears “circus” was a flop, there were high expectations on this album.

The sales of album have shown decline compared to last week. It sold around 400,000 copies after a month of the release. Britney is also going out for tours to support her album. The album got a good craze before its release but it could not cash it later.

As a fan of Britney I never expected this kind of album. In this album I liked only two songs Heaven on Earth and Break the Ice and the remaining sixteen songs are just ordinary. But the beats of songs are good. I hope the next album of Britney will be surely one of the biggest hits.

Some Tips to Get through Extreme Winters Easily

Winters are always so chilly. It is not practical to ask the season to come some other day as you are not ready for it. So it is better to get ready well in advance so that you don’t have to face embarrassing situations when it finally arrives.

Here are some tips that help you to get ready to cope up with chilly weather.

Winter and woolen clothes are much related with each other. But sometimes they mess up with the person wearing it when he doesn’t take proper care in maintaining or wearing them. They sometimes trap moisture between the body and the woolen coat, and you can imagine what the consequence would be.

A good covering for the neck and the head are also very important as these parts lose heat very fast compared to other body parts.

The next thing is boots. There are some people who roam in cold winters with their handy cams to shoot people who slip and fall down. To avoid being caught by these people wear waterproof and good grip boots.

Drive safe during winters and check everything before starting your car.

Study Proved That Blogs Strongly Influence Purchase Decisions

According to the jupiter-research it is proven that blogs readers are increasing rapidly. It has increased more than 300 percent compared to the past few months. And reports show that 30 percent people of online population read blogs atleast once in a month and 6 percent read every day.

From past few years, blogs are influencing readers to purchase. Half of the people who read blogs say that, it is helpful for making purchase decision. And 25 percent of the regular blog readers believe ads on the blogs. Twenty one percent of blog readers support their answer for their queries and 17 percent discover product and services. For purchasing and finally seven percent of the blog readers are purchasing.

More than 70 percent of frequent blog readers read minimum one blog per session. Blogs are proved that these are part of the reader’s conversation, but not for the sake of loneliness. By this it is clear that blogs have more impact on the purchase decisions compared to the social networking sites.

Why Some People Don't Look Good In Photos?

I have been taking photos of people since many years. It is common for me to observe that some people who look good normally don’t look good in photos, whereas some people look good in photos than what they are. It is not the fault of the camera nor is it the weather or the background. It is called photogenic thing which is usually seen with our movie or TV celebrities.

Some people who say that there is no such thing like photogenic, has no good experience with photographs. Though you cannot do anything with your god-given face, there are some tips that will make a person look photogenic. And a good photographer always suggests his clients with tips of looking good in photographs. There are some people who get irritated with the suggestions of photographer, but if they want to look good they have to obey him.

People these days have many soft wares like photo-shop to mend their photos, so photogenic is not an issue now.

Drinking Tea Can Be Better Experience

Most commonly offered drink by most of us to our guests is tea. Tea is refreshing and many like the taste of it. Everything is made by hand, leaves are picked by hand, sorted, processed and then brew by hand. So, much effort is put for just single cup of tea.

Most of us have a habit of tasting the dish before serving to others and same can be the case with tea. Process starts with opening the can or pack of tea powder and smell of it touches your nose within seconds and you enjoy the smell of it, even want to smell for many times. Then experience the color and texture of dry leaves, the whole leaves are curled or rolled with minimal dust is treated as best quality tea.

Based on the instruction on the pack, brew them after brew the tea powder is ready and excellent tea is prepared with this. After brewing them you can observe the color of tea after brewing them. Finally, each tea has different color like black tea has dark reddish tint etc and enjoy the flavor, which you like the most, and you can also experiment with different types of teas.

Junk Food- A Cause Of Concern

In this fast moving society many of them prefers junk food even though it is not good for health. Junk food is fat loaded with high sugar contents and other unhealthy elements.

Many people often wonder why it is important to have a healthy diet. Life at times can be very busy and some people just don’t have time to cook. So they prefer outside food but, they don’t understand the disadvantages of junk food. Because of these junk foods many of them are facing obese problems. They will also loose weight.

Nowadays we are observing obese problems mainly in children why because, they always prefer outside food. Parents should take care of their children; sometimes it may leads to serious problem in future.

Junk foods will have less nutrition’s and more fatty acids, doctors suggest that it is good for health to avoid junk food. So people, who want to maintain healthy life, should stay away from the junk food.

A Different Approach of Super-Hero Movie

I never liked Bruce Willis in super hero movies. He has some other capability and some other charm. I don’t know why he always tries to be in shoes of a super hero and exaggerate himself when he could do much more in other themes.

But his performance in the movie Unbreakable was remarkable. Though the plot and the story line were boring, it had some good performances by the cast.

The movie could have fared well, if the Bruce’s character had little more power in the plot like in those classic comics of other super hero movies.

I have never heard of any successful super hero taking much time to be convinced that he is a super hero. People don’t use this formula because they know how it embraces audience. I wonder how Shyamalan dared to use this in this movie.

I am sure I am not going to purchase any DVD of this movie because it is not worth it.

Pirates of Somalia Interrupted By Navy Troops

They have been posing a major threat to international shipping since 1990s when the civilian war broke out in Somalia. They are now the major concern of countries that have lost some thing or the other due to their piracy.

Piracy in Somalia is turning out into a major threat for ships sailing in the seas near to Somalia. Their recent victim is Philippines’s chemical tanker was abducted by these pirates along with their 23 crew members. Their number of attacks rose to 83 with this act.

They have also tried to hijack a merchant vessel belonging to India. But their navy was successful in prevent it with their timely entry into the crime scene.

And British navy was successful in killing three pirates in the seas of Gulf of Aden. They say it is possibly the first incident to have killed any pirates since centuries.

Many countries have joined together to guard ships from these pirate attacks.

Do man-eaters still exist?

When I say about man-eaters, the Tsavo incident is the most famous one. The victims of the attacks of two man eating lions are as many as 563 people. Not a cool number. There was actually a film released named The Ghost and the Darkness in 1996, named after those two lions.

Then the next famous incidents are the adventures of Jim Corbett in India where he fought with savage tigers. Of course the book on his experiences is also very famous.

Africa and India are said to be the most areas where these incidents occurred. Not only lions and tigers, animals like bears, wolves, leopards, jaguars were said to attack humans.

Whatever may be the reason for this, people have started hunting down all the animals which they thought are dangerous. This resulted in extinct of these animals all around the world, thus causing a great threat to the natural food chain.

Immaculate Beauty: "The Planet Earth"

It would be a wonderful experience seeing the earth from space. Earth, our home planet, is a beautiful blue and white ball when seen from space. The third planet from the Sun, it is the largest of the inner planets. Earth is the only planet known to support life and to have liquid water at the surface. The amazing thing is that the liquid water is about 79% and the land is just 21% of the earth. When we see a dazzling collection of photographs of Earth taken from space we get an idea of how beautiful earth really looks like.

One of the most fantastic records of Earth's beauty, Seen from space, Earth has no national borders, no military zones, and no visible fences. The entire atmosphere of the planet-- all the air we breathe, all the sky we fly through, even the ozone layer is visible as the thinnest rind. The home planet book gives us the amazing pictures of earth and that reveals the awesome beauty of our mother earth.

The green forests, mighty hills, valleys, mountains, the great golden deserts, beautiful islands and flowing rivers all these made the earth as heaven for the living beings. Earth at its most marble-like and blue is not just a feast for the eyes that nature gives us. The Earth is a unique planet which supported life for billions of years.

Vodafone offers pre-registration for iPhone 3G

Indians are waiting for the 3G iPhone since long, here is the chance to the grab Apple’s third-generation touch phone as soon as it ships in India. Vodafone phone is present pre-registering of the Apple’s 3G iPhone. Whereas there is no representative announcement made by the company, the mobile phone service provider advertised the offer on its official website and in a leading newspaper. Regarding the 3G connectivity in the country, the Indian government has not yet issued procedure and directives for auctioning of the 3G telephony in India. One of the many issues that are hindering the government from taking the final decision is that whether the foreign companies are permitted to bid for the 3G license. The current telephony scenario in India cannot support 3G networks.

Bharti Airtel will be bringing the iPhone to India and it is also reported that the pre-registering offer has been started by Airtel as well, though there are no announcements made from its side. It is apparent that both, Vodafone and Airtel are waiting for Indian government to confirm the matters. Both the companies’ officials are not ready to confirm the news, although Vodafone has in a manner revealed its pre-registering plans and its marketing strategy by the advertisements. The accessibility of iPhone in India has also not been exposed either by Vodafone or by Airtel. The iPhone is speculated to be available by the end of 2008 in India.

The Miniature Pinscher

The Miniature Pinscher, also known as the Min Pin by fanciers, is a toy breed of dog. Miniature Pinschers were first bred to hunt vermin, especially rats. In its native Germany, the dog is known as the Zwergpinscher. Pinscher is the German word for biter and Zwerg means Dwarf in German. The Miniature Pinscher is also known as the "King of the Toy Dogs". Though the Miniature Pinscher is considered a toy breed, it is in fact one of the oldest of the terrier breeds.
  • Although the breed is not necessarily bad with children, much care must be taken in educating youths about proper handling and play. Although relatively sturdy for their size, they can be easily injured by rough play with a child. In addition, their high-strung temperament leaves little patience for such rough play.
  • Grooming is easy, as the smooth, short-haired coat requires little attention. Care must be taken in colder weather as the coat provides virtually no insulation from the cold.
  • Due to their instinct to hunt vermin, special care must be taken in preventing a Miniature Pinscher from "attacking" small objects, such as bottle caps, as they could pose a choking hazard.
  • Miniature Pinschers are also prone to overeating and should have their diets monitored to prevent obesity.
  • This breed has an insatiable curiosity, so the best toys for Miniature Pinschers are ones that stimulate their curiosity. This may include toys that move or make an interesting noise. Miniature Pinschers enjoy having a collection of such toys, which they will hoard and spend much time in moving from one collecting place to another.
  • Miniature Pinschers are territorial, so they should be provided with their own place to rest and sleep, though they will commonly stake a claim to a particular piece of furniture or curtain under or behind which they will sleep when people are in the room. They prefer to sleep on soft objects as well as under soft objects, so a small blanket should be provided to cover them. Unless the owner is amenable to sharing his or her bed, bedroom doors must be kept closed at night as Miniature Pinschers will jump onto beds and crawl under the covers. Care should be taken not to accidentally injure a Miniature Pinscher while they are sleeping under blankets.
It is essential due to the energy level of this breed that a secured fenced yard be provided. Miniature Pinschers need to exercise regularly. In addition, due to the nature of this breed, when in public this breed must be kept on harness and leash. It is natural for this breed to bolt if something of interest catches its eye. It is better to use a harness as a collar can hurt the dog's neck when he or she bolts.

Cruise control

Cruise control is a system that automatically controls the rate of motion of a motor vehicle. The driver sets the speed and the system will take over the throttle of the car to maintain the same speed.

Advantages and Disadvantages
Cruise control has many advantages but also some serious vices. Some of those advantages include:
  • Its usefulness for long drives across sparsely populated roads. This usually results in better fuel efficiency.
  • Some drivers use it to avoid unconsciously violating speed limits. A driver who otherwise tends to unconsciously increase speed over the course of a highway journey may avoid a speeding ticket. Such drivers should note, however, that a cruise control may go over its setting on a downhill which is steep enough to accelerate with an idling engine.
However, cruise control can also lead to accidents due to several factors, such as:
  • The lack of need to maintain constant pedal pressure, which can help lead to accidents caused by highway hypnosis or incapacitated drivers; future systems may include a dead man's switch to avoid this.
  • When used during inclement weather or while driving on wet or snow- and/or ice-covered roads, the vehicle not equipped with Electronic Stability Control could go into a skid. Stepping on the brake such as to disengage the cruise control often results in the driver losing control of the vehicle.
Driving over "rolling" terrain, with gentle up and down portions, can usually be done more economically by a skilled driver viewing the approaching terrain, by maintaining a relatively constant throttle position and allowing the vehicle to accelerate on the downgrades and decelerate on upgrades, while reducing power when cresting a rise and adding a bit before an upgrade is reached. Cruise control will tend to over throttle on the upgrades and retard on the downgrades, wasting the energy storage capabilities available from the inertia of the vehicle. The inefficiencies from cruise control can be even greater relative to skilled driving in hybrid vehicles. Many countries establish that it is illegal to drive within city limits with the cruise control feature activated.

Cardiovascular disease: Foods for Cardiovascular Health

Cardiovascular disease refers to the class of diseases that involve the heart or blood vessels (arteries and veins). While the term technically refers to any disease that affects the cardiovascular system, it is usually used to refer to those related to arteriosclerosis (arterial disease). These conditions have similar causes, mechanisms, and treatments. In practice, cardiologists, thoracic surgeons, vascular surgeons, neurologists, and interventional radiologists treat cardiovascular disease, depending on the organ system that is being treated. There is considerable overlap in the specialties, and it is common for certain procedures to be performed by different types of specialists in the same hospital.

Most Western countries face high and increasing rates of cardiovascular disease. Each year, heart disease kills more Americans than cancer. Diseases of the heart alone caused 30% of all deaths, with other diseases of the cardiovascular system causing substantial further death and disability. Up until the year 2005, it was the number 1 cause of death and disability in the United States and most European countries. A large histological study (PDAY) showed vascular injury accumulates from adolescence, making primary prevention efforts necessary from childhood.

By the time that heart problems are detected, the underlying cause (arteriosclerosis) is usually quite advanced, having progressed for decades. There is therefore increased emphasis on preventing arteriosclerosis by modifying risk factors, such as healthy eating, exercise and avoidance of smoking.

Foods for Cardiovascular Health

Research has shown that a diet that includes dark chocolate, almonds, fish, wine, fruits, vegetables, and garlic can increase life expectancy and decrease your risk for cardiovascular disease.

Eating oily fish at least twice a week may help reduce the risk of sudden death and arrhythmias. A 2005 review of 97 clinical trials by Studer et al. noted that omega-3 fats gave lower risk ratios than did statins. Olive oil is said to have benefits. Studies of individual heart cells showed that fatty acids blocked excessive sodium and calcium currents in the heart, which could otherwise cause dangerous, unpredictable changes in its rhythm.

Digital Marketing

automotive marketing
Digital Marketing:Digital Marketing is the practice of promoting products and services using digital distribution channels to reach consumers in a timely, relevant, personal and cost-effective manner.

At the same time digital marketing does include many of the techniques and practices contained within the category of Internet Marketing, it extends beyond this by including other channels with which to reach people that do not require the use of The Internet. As a result of this non-reliance on the Internet, the field of digital marketing includes a whole host of elements such as mobile phones, sms/mms, display / banner ads and digital outdoor.

Previously seen as a stand-alone service in its own right, it is frequently being seen as a domain that can and does cover most, if not all, of the more traditional marketing areas such as Direct Marketing by providing the same method of communicating with an audience but in a digital fashion.

Digital Marketing and Multi-Channel CommunicationsWhile digital marketing is effective when using one message type, it is much more successful when a marketer combines multiple channels in the message campaigns. For example, if a company is trying to promote a new product release, they could send out an email message or text campaign individually. This, if properly executed, could yield positive results. However, this same campaign could be exponentially improved if multiple message types are implemented.

An email could be sent to a list of potential customers with a special offer for those that also include their cell phone number. A couple of days later, a follow up campaign would be sent via text message (SMS) with the special offer.

Limitations of Flash memory

Flash memory is non-volatile computer memory that can be electrically erased and reprogrammed. It is a technology that is primarily used in memory cards, and USB flash drives for general storage and transfer of data between computers and other digital products.

One limitation of flash memory is that although it can be read or programmed a byte or a word at a time in a random access fashion, it must be erased a "block" at a time. This generally sets all bits in the block to 1. Starting with a freshly erased block, any location within that block can be programmed. However, once a bit has been set to 0, only by erasing the entire block can it be changed back to 1. In other words, flash memory (specifically NOR flash) offers random-access read and programming operations, but cannot offer arbitrary random-access rewrite or erase operations. A location can, however, be rewritten as long as the new value's 0 bits are a superset of the over-written value's. For example, a nibble value may be erased to 1111, then written as 1110. Successive writes to that nibble can change it to 1010, then 0010, and finally 0000. Although data structures in flash memory cannot be updated in completely general ways, this allows members to be "removed" by marking them as invalid. This technique must be modified somewhat for multi-level devices, where one memory cell holds more than one bit.

Another limitation is that flash memory has a finite number of erase-write cycles (most commercially available flash products are guaranteed to withstand 100,000 write-erase-cycles for block 0, and no guarantees for other blocks. This effect is partially offset by some chip firmware or file system drivers by counting the writes and dynamically re-mapping the blocks in order to spread the write operations between the sectors; this technique is called wear leveling. Another mechanism is to perform write verification and re-mapping to spare sectors in case of write failure, which is named bad block management (BBM). With these mechanisms in place, some industry analysts have calculated that flash memory can be written to at full speed continuously for 51 years before exceeding its write endurance, even if such writes frequently cause the entire memory to be overwritten. This figure (51 years) involved a worst-case scenario using specific data parameters and should not be confused with a particular "shelf life" for a flash memory device. The bottom line is that a typical user using a commercial device, such as a camera, with a flash drive will probably not wear out the memory for the effective life of the camera. However, it - like any other hardware component - can fail. Anyone using flash memory (and any other medium) for critical data would be well advised to backup the data to another device (preferably of a different medium). Many have found it very fast and reliable for 'read-only' operating systems such as thin clients and routers.

Advantages of professional digital cameras

Advantages of Professional digital cameras are as follows:
  • Immediate image review and deletion is possible; lighting and composition can be assessed immediately, which ultimately conserves storage space.
  • The ability to shoot in raw image format (images that contain tagged data directly from the sensor). However, as of this writing, there are a number of proprietary RAW formats, some of which require specific software to manipulate.

Consumer’s sales promotions in US

In the U.S, consumer sales promotion sponsors are very careful to disassociate themselves from any suggestion that players must pay to enter, as this would bring them into conflict with federal lottery laws. Sweepstakes typically involve enticements to enter a consumer promotion for prizes that range from fantastic wins such as cars or large sums of money to smaller prizes that are "hot" such Apple iPods. There should be no cost to the entrant to enter for the sweepstakes prize and sweepstakes winners should also not be required to pay a fee of any type to receive their prizes. Because of their potential for abuse, sweepstakes are heavily regulated in many countries. The U.S., Canada, and individual U.S. state all have laws covering sweepstakes, resulting in special rules depending on where the entrant lives. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission exercises some authority over sweepstakes promotion and sweepstakes scams in the United States.

Most corporate-sponsored sweepstakes promoted in the United States limit entry to U.S. citizens, although some allow entry by legal residents of both the United States and Canada. Among the most commonly known sweepstakes in the United States are the American Family Publishers Sweepstakes, Publisher's Clearing House and Reader's Digest Sweepstakes, each of which strongly persuade entrants to purchase magazine subscriptions by placing stickers on contest entry cardstock while promising multi-million dollar (annuity) winners who will be "announced on TV." The American Family Publishers sweepstakes traditionally used paid advertisements during NBC's The Tonight Show to announce its grand prizewinners. Fast-food restaurants frequently use sweepstakes to boost business. One of the most popular has been the McDonald's Monopoly promotion. Soft drink companies also sponsor many sweepstakes, such as the Pepsi Billion Dollar Sweepstakes game and the Pepsi Stuff loyalty rewards program that allowed Pepsi drinkers to accumulate points from packages and cups and redeem them for high-quality, free merchandise. Pepsi Stuff was Pepsi's largest and most successful long-term promotion ever and it ran for many years in the US and in many countries around the world. Other sponsors may require the submission of a UPC of a company product for entry into the sweepstakes drawing. In most sweepstakes, entrants and their relatives must not be related to the sponsor or promoter.

Advantages and disadvantages of debit cards

Debit and check cards, as they have become widespread, have revealed numerous advantages and disadvantages to the consumer and retailer alike. Advantages of debit cards are as follows:
  • A consumer who is not credit worthy and may find it difficult or impossible to obtain a credit card can more easily obtain a debit card, allowing him/her to make plastic transactions.
  • Use of a debit card is limited to the existing funds in the account to which it is linked, thereby preventing the consumer from racking up debt as a result of its use, or being charged interest, late fees, or fees exclusive to credit cards.
  • For most transactions, a check card can be used to avoid check writing altogether. Check cards debit funds from the user's account on the spot, thereby finalizing the transaction at the time of purchase, and bypassing the requirement to pay a credit card bill at a later date, or to write an insecure check containing the account holder's personal information.
  • Like credit cards, debit cards are accepted by merchants with less identification and scrutiny than personal checks, thereby making transactions quicker and less intrusive. Unlike personal checks, merchants generally do not believe that a payment via a debit card may be later dishonored.
  • Unlike a credit card, which charges higher fees and interest rates when a cash advance is obtained, a debit card may be used to obtain cash from an ATM or a PIN-based transaction at no extra charge, other than a foreign ATM fee.
The debit card has many disadvantages as opposed to cash or credit:
  • Some banks are now charging over-limit fees or non-sufficient funds fees based upon pre-authorizations, and even attempted but refused transactions by the merchant (some of which may not even be known by the client).
  • Many merchants mistakenly believe that amounts owed can be "taken" from a customer's account after a debit card (or number) has been presented, without agreement as to date, payee name, and dollar and cent amount, thus causing penalty fees for overdrafts, over-the-limit, amounts not available causing further rejections or overdrafts, and rejected transactions by some banks.
  • Debit cards offer lower levels of security protection than credit cards. Theft of the users PIN using skimming devices can be accomplished much easier with a PIN input than with a signature-based credit transaction.
  • In many places, laws protect the consumer from fraud a lot less than with a credit card. While the holder of a credit card is legally responsible for only a minimal amount of a fraudulent transaction made with a credit card, which is often waived by the bank, the consumer may be held liable for hundreds of dollars in fraudulent debit transactions. The consumer also has a much shorter time (usually just two days) to report such fraud to the bank in order to be eligible for such a waiver with a debit card, whereas with a credit card, this time may be up to 60 days. A thief who obtains or clones a debit card along with its PIN may be able to clean out the consumer's bank account, and the consumer will have no recourse.
  • In the UK and Ireland, among other countries, a consumer who purchases goods or services with a credit card can pursue the credit card issuer if the goods or services are not delivered or are unmerchantable. While they must generally exhaust the process provided by the retailer first, this is not necessary if the retailer has gone out of business. This protection is not provided when using a debit card.
  • When a transaction is made using a credit card, the bank's money is being spent, and therefore, the bank has a vested interest in claiming its money where there is fraud or a dispute. The bank may fight to void the charges of a consumer who is dissatisfied with a purchase, or who has otherwise been treated unfairly by the merchant. But when a debit purchase is made, the consumer has spent his/her own money, and the bank has little if any motivation to collect the funds.
  • For certain types of purchases, such as gasoline, lodging, or car rental, the bank may place a hold on funds much greater than the actual purchase for a fixed period of time. Until the hold is released, any other transactions presented to the account, including checks, may be dishonored, or may be paid at the expense of an overdraft fee if the account lacks any additional funds to pay those items.
While debit cards bearing the logo of a major credit card are accepted for virtually all transactions where an equivalent credit card is taken, a major exception is at car rental facilities. Car rental agencies require an actual credit card to be used, or at the very least, will verify the creditworthiness of the renter using a debit card. These companies will deny a rental to anyone who does not fit the requirements, and such a credit check may actually hurt one's credit score.

Getting Out Before Your Lease Term

There are many occasions and many cases I have seen people need to get out of the apartment before the lease term is over. Same the case with mine when I have owned one of the Denver apartments before my lease time is over. What ever may be the reason, knowing how to get out of your lease is important for you. If not you will be end up paying rent on apartments even after you left, at least to till the term is over. This will drain your financial resources.

Find out how much will it cost to buy your way out to get out of the lease. Most of the apartments allow you to pay your way out of a lease before it is over. This is essential for the protection of the complex and their interests. Find asking your landlord how much it would cost to get out of the lease and then make decision.

Subletting is another alternative for not loosing your money. This option is always available if you have already expected the situation and make certain agreements with your landlord. Some times it will not let you buy your way out of the lease, or it would simply cost too much money to do so, subletting your apartment may be an option that you find attractive in those times. Care must be exercised within this area, though as your name remain on the lease of the agreement. It is your responsibility to make sure that you have a reliable, responsible party living in your apartment if you decide to sublet.
