How The World’s Largest Bank Works?

It is the important source for all developing countries all around the world in providing financial and technical assistance. It is called the World Bank, the greatest financial­-super hero for the developing nations.

It is not the individuals that bank in this mighty bank. It only deals with the governments of the nations. Now it is as big as 185 countries as its members and shareholders.

As the mighty bank of the world it may be interesting to know how it operates and who operates it. The present President of the World Bank is Robert B Zoellick. There are more than 10,000 employees operating in diverse functions from 160 countries all over the world.

World Bank offers loans to developing countries for low interests or no interests, thus encouraging the progress of these countries. It is the shareholders that are the crucial sources of money for World Bank. Though the interest rates are low, the profit made is large as the money lent by World Bank is in Millions in general.
